As part of the on going move to fully embrace
the LifeChurch.tv ministry philosophy, the members of IgniteKC.tv voted on Sunday, May 15, 2011 to change the
name to IgniteKC.tv.
Ben Gleaves
Called by Unanimous Vote
On Sunday, March 28th, 2010, the Members
of IgniteKC.tv voted unanimously to call Ben Gleaves
to fill the position of Campus Pastor.
Ben Gleaves, his wife Misty and their children
visited Olathe during the weekend of March 26 to 28th. Ben
conducted the service on Sunday and then presented his vision
for the Church during the 11:00 education hour. After the
presentation Ben answered questions.
After the presentation and questions and
answer portion the Members voted unanimously to accept the
following.
- Recommendation from the Pastoral Search Committee that
we call Ben Gleaves to fill the position of Campus Pastor.
- Recommendation from the Leadership Team regarding the
compensation package to cover the salary, taxes, health
insurance and mileage for this position.
- Recommendation from the Leadership Team regarding the
changes to be implemented for both the 100 day roll out
and the capital improvement to begin January 2011.
Pastoral
Search Committee Recommends Ben Gleaves
The Pastoral Search Committee announced
that after phone and face-to-face interviews with candidates
they have recommended to the members of IgniteKC.tv that
Ben Gleaves of Edmond, Oklahoma be considered for the Campus
Pastor position.
Ben and his family will visit IgniteKC.tv
on Saturday March 27th and Sunday March 28th. Ben will run
the Worship Experience at 9:30 am on Sunday March 28th.
After the worship experience a get acquainted
time will take place at 11:00 am.
Immediately following this the members
will discuss and vote on the following:
- Recommendation from the Pastoral Search Committee that
we call Ben Gleaves to fill the Campus Pastor position
at IgniteKC.tv.
- Recommendation from the Leadership Team regarding the
compensation package to cover the salary, taxes, health
insurance and mileage for this position.
- Recommendation from the Leadership Team regarding the
changes to be implemented in the 100 day roll out. These
changes will include ingredients that have been proven
necessary to growth and ministry success at other LifeChurch.tv
Campuses.
IgniteKC.tv
is now a LifeChurch.tv Network Church
As of February 22, 2009 IgniteKC.tv has now partnered with LifeChurch.tv
and is the only LifeChurch.tv
Networked Church in the Kansas City area. So
