Rev. Noel
V. Cisneros, Pastor of Congregational Care
Noel is currently serving as the Pastor of Congregational
Care at Olathe Evangelical Covenant Church (OECC). An ordained
Covenant pastor, Noel has been serving Covenant churches since
1986, including Palmyra Covenant, Hector, MN, Herndon Covenant
Church, Herndon, KS, New Hope Covenant Church (a bi-lingual
church plant),Yakima, WA, and People’s Covenant Church,
San Juan, TX. Noel is a gifted pastor who has served as a
bridge between English speaking and Spanish speaking congregations.
He is passionate about evangelism and community building,
as well as using his bi-lingual skills to build relationships
with people within and beyond the walls of the church.
In addition to pastoral ministry, Noel’s
other ministry passion is serving as a Chaplain for the United
States Army. He has served in the US Army for more that 20
years in both the active and reserve component. He currently
serves as the 166th Aviation Brigade Chaplain at Fort Riley,
KS.
When free time presents itself, Noel loves
to read, visit with family, drinking coffee, and faithfully
follows the Dallas Cowboys and LA Lakers. His daily pastimes
include devotions, prayer, reading the USA Today, and drinking
several Diet Cokes.
Noel and his wife,
Debbie, have three grown children who are married and are
the proud grandparents of five wonderful grandchildren, Micah,
Karsten, Kyla, Joel and Gabriel. Noel and Debbie reside in
Lawrence, KS and are avid KU fans!
