Ben Gleaves

Ben has worked as a pastor in multiple church settings and roles. He served as the Associate Campus Pastor at Lifechurch.tv in Oklahoma City. He has also served as a Preaching Pastor and Youth Pastor. Ben is a therapist. On another note: he likes running when he gets the chance, Dr. Pepper, hanging with the family, movies, and loves birthday surprises (July20th ?).

He has spent way too many years in school and even suspects one day that he is going to finish that pesky Doctoral dissertation he started (sure…). He has finished college degrees in religious studies, marriage and family therapy, and underwater basket weaving (that last one is not true but it is one that would be really cool).

One of Ben’s favorite things is his family. Yep, Ben has one wife (Misty, she is really the brains of the outfit), and four little drunk midgets running around (Bryce Man, Ashton, Moose, and Jilly Bean). Ben has become proficient in diaper changing and would be happy to develop a mentorship for anyone who would like to practice changing his two youngest kids diapers!

Ben and his family are pumped to be working with the network campus here in Olathe!

A graduate of William Jewell College with a Degree in Piano Performance, Jamie has served several churches in the Kansas City area with his music ministry. Overall, Jamie’s enthusiasm and passion for music has made him one of Kansas City’s most unique and talented performer/singer/songwriters. Having lived and worked in Nashville, Tennessee he gained extensive experience in recording, production and arrangements. Jamie has produced and released multiple recording projects including a vocal album "Through the Rain" and an instrumental album "Yesterday Watching". His first praise and worship album is currently in production.

In addition to following a lifelong passion for music, Jamie is an avid martial artist with over 25 years of training. His continued study and dedication has led to his certification with some of the highest black belt rankings in multiple disciplines of the martial arts. Together with his wife, Ashleigh, who is also a black belt, they have owned and operated the Olathe Karate Academy since 1999.

With his extensive background Jamie brings a renewed spirit and fresh perspective to the music at Olathe Covenant with the intent to move the worship to the next level in the highest standards of a LifeChurch.tv Network church.

Jamie and Ashleigh were blessed with their first little girl on February 28th, 2009. Ainsley reminds them daily of how we are all a precious gift from God.
